Both prospects had near unblemished records, with Aleem having one tie and Centeno Jr. having one loss on his record. Both fighters were looking to make a statement against solid competition tonight.

Rances Barthelemy and Denis Shafikov faced off December 18 on PBC on Spike for a vacant 135-pound world title. Barthelemy was seeking his second world champion title against the Russian Shafikov. Barthelemy (24-0, 13 KOs), a Cuban defector who has made a name for himself back home and in this country was seeking to extend his undefeated record.

Featherweight Leduan Barthelemy looked to continue his undefeated streak against Rafael Reyes on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, on FS1 as part of the Premier Boxing Champions series. Barthelemy set out to be the aggressor and took control of the fight. In the second round however Reyes showed more aggression, however it was short lived.

Undefeated super middleweight Caleb Plant faces Ghana's Thomas Awimbono in a scheduled 10-round bout February 25, 2017 on PBC on FS1 in Birmingham, AL. Plant closes round 1 with a flurry of punches and lands a left hook that drops Awimbono. Plant controls rounds 1 and 2 and Awimbono tries to connect but does not have much success.

Today we're throwing it back to June 21, 2015 when defending IBF 130 lbs champ Rances Barthelemy took apart the always game former champion Antonio Demarco. This was Barthelemy's first match at 140 lbs as his awkward switch-hitting style proved to be too much for the former champion, flooring DeMarco on the way to a UD win at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
